Circuit training improves anaerobic and aerobic muscle strength, cardiovascular conditioning, endurance, and flexibility. This is an hour-long intense class offered four times a week where students do a series of 12 three-minute rounds with a one-minute break in between each round. Students are given a number of supervised muscle fitness exercises to do including shadowboxing, jumping rope, focus mitts, speed bags, heavy bags, sit-ups, and push ups in alternating rounds. In circuit training classes you get the feeling of the rigorous training routine of professional fighters without having to spar. Don’t even think about going anywhere after this class without changing, because you WILL walk out soaked.
